Walleyes on the Run!!!!

Had a great trip this past weekend with a Father/Son combo. We started jigging the river at Rainbow Park in Oshkosh and switched to pulling flies. We ended boating alot of walleyes but most were in the 12-14 inch range and are still swimming. It was really encouraging knowing this class/size of fish is what the future of Lake Winnebago will provide. We ended up making a move away from the boat traffic and what a great decision that was! Lines were barely in the water and we were pulling in a 19.5 inch walleye. Let the fun begin!!!! Great trip with great guys! This is what makes guiding so much fun.....the people!!! The walleye fishing on Winnebago this year should be great and look forward to many more days on the water!
